Tim Thorp

Tim joined Newcore in September 2025 as COO. He has 30 years’ of experience of financial, operational, and investment management in private equity real estate and infrastructure, while in senior leadership roles at Panattoni Investment Management, ESR Europe, and InfraRed Capital Partners (formerly HSBC Specialist Investments), where he served as Partner and Head of European Real Estate Finance and Operations.

He has led on the design, implementation, and enhancement of investment management platforms, fund structures, regulation and prop-tech initiatives.  As a member of investment and executive committees for over 20 years, he is experienced at aligning financial strategy with organisational goals to maximise profitability and efficiency. His extensive transaction management experience covers structuring investment funds, originating and managing debt, complex restructurings, including fund and SPV acquisitions and disposals.

Tim is a member of the ICAEW and has a degree in History from the University of York.
