Andrew has chaired the Newcore business since its launch in 2011 and steps down from the board at the end of 2026 after a very successful tenure during which time the firm has gone from strength to strength. Until then he remains Chairman Emeritus of Newcore and a key, non-executive member of the Supervisory Board, which ensures that the highest standards of corporate governance are met. He sits on the Newcore investment committee. Andrew is also Emeritus Professor at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and Emeritus Professor at the University of Reading. He was previously Honorary Professor of Real Estate Investment at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of St John’s College, Cambridge.
Andrew sits on the investment committee for CBRE Investment Management Indirect and on advisory boards for Ashby Capital and QIC.
A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the CFA Institute, Andrew is founder and former president of the Reading Real Estate Foundation, an educational charity established to support real estate education. Andrew has been elected an Academic Fellow of the Urban Land Institute and is an Honorary Fellow of the Society of Property Researchers.
